The Jun Kaneko Archive consists of the personal and professional records of Jun Kaneko. The archive contains photographs, recordings, sketchbooks, correspondence, artifacts, publications, papers, and biographical materials produced or collected by Jun Kaneko and Jun Kaneko Studio. Archive staff are currently processing hundreds of cubic feet of materials and thousands of digital files pertaining to the artist’s life and work.
The archive will be housed in the Ree & Jun Kaneko Foundation Collection Building in downtown Omaha, where selected materials will be on display for visitors. The Foundation will make a curated set of digital archive records publicly available online.
The Jun Kaneko Archive is not yet accessible for research purposes; however, the Foundation may, at its discretion, be able to respond to questions or make some materials available to scholars, curators, and researchers. Please submit inquiries via the Archive Access form.
